While investigating a tragic accident on the remote, deep-sea mining facility Site Decimus, Olivia Nelson and the remaining crew come face-to-face with a long-buried horror sleeping under the vast, cold depths. Woken from its restless slumber and freed from its stony prison, it seeks to start its terrible life-cycle once again. But first, the parasite must infect a host – Only then can the creature grow stronger, bigger, and deadlier. Cut off from the rest of the world, she and the others find themselves trapped on the rig with an insatiable, bloodthirsty monster.
